Perhaps Super Street Fighter IV Arcade ( which will be at the Tokyo Game Show) would make a great candidate for that but there have been no 3D SSFIV announcements beyond the Nintendo 3DS version so far. Taito hasn’t revealed any 3D games that I know of at the moment but they also aim for other developers to take advantage of their technologies so they could be setting it up for someone else to take the 3D lead. Based on commodity personal computer hardware architecture, Type X is not a specification for a single set of hardware, but rather a modular platform supporting multiple hardware configurations with different levels of graphical capability. How soon they plan on releasing this technology is anyone’s guess but I imagine that it won’t be long after the Type X Zero is released. The Taito Type X is an arcade system board released in 2004 by game developer and publisher Taito. In addition to that has an upclose picture of the glasses-free PureDepth 3D display that was in the same booth as the Type X Zero. The option of adding a 1 TB HDD is probably for the NESICAxLive system so you can store multiple games on one board and at 1 TB it should handle plenty. As you can tell, they aren’t aiming for a high-end machine here but rather something that is cost effective, which other companies have been doing lately as well. The system sports a custom BIOS to try and prevent piracy and if I read it correctly, it includes a built-in UPS to handle power interruptions. You can compare this to the Type X2 hardware here.

This method benefitted both manufacturers and arcade game owners. Later arcade system boards, including the DECO Cassette System, SNK's Neo-Geo, Capcom's CPS-2, and Sega's NAOMI, separated the system board from the game program itself, akin to a home video game console and cartridge/CD/DVD/Hard Disk. The next generation of arcade system boards, with the inclusion of microprocessor based technology, incorporated the game program code directly on the main system board via game code stored in ROM chips mounted on the main board. The earliest non-microprocessor based arcade system boards were designed around codeless state machine computers with the main board and any support boards consisting of discrete logic circuits comprising each element of the game itself. Arcade system boards typically consist of a main system board with any number of supporting boards. An arcade system board is a dedicated computer system created for the purpose of running video arcade games.
